The ImagineBR Street Festival was a block-long celebration of culture, community, and shared vision for the future of Plank Road. Held as part of the Imagine Plank Road planning process, the event brought together residents, musicians, artists, food vendors, and local organizations for a day of connection, creativity, and input.
Alongside performances and food trucks, the festival featured interactive planning stations where community members could share ideas for transit, housing, business, and public space. It also hosted a resource fair with local service providers and occurred in tandem with a neighborhood cleanup organized by The Walls Project, helping to activate and beautify the corridor in real time.
This event was more than a celebration—it was a critical moment in ensuring that the Imagine Plank Road Master Plan was grounded in the lived experience, ideas, and hopes of the people it’s meant to serve.
