Stronger Storefronts. Stronger Corridors.

Program Summary

Front Door Refresh is Build EBR’s façade improvement program designed to support small businesses and commercial property owners along the Plank Road Corridor. The program provides funding, technical guidance, and project support for exterior improvements that make storefronts more attractive, accessible, and inviting.

This program advances the vision of the Reimagine Plank Road Master Plan and is funded through the JPMorgan Chase AdvancingCities Grant. The initial phase will focus on properties located between North 22nd Street and Clayton Street, creating a concentrated cluster of visible improvements that strengthen corridor identity, support local businesses, and encourage additional investment.
