Future Sites is a property tax relief program designed to support long-term redevelopment of underutilized properties. Property owners who commit to improving their site may be eligible to stabilize or reduce their property tax burden during the redevelopment period.
This program is intended to remove a key barrier to investment: carrying costs. By reducing tax pressure in the early stages of a project, Future Sites creates space for owners and developers to plan, finance, and deliver meaningful improvements.
In exchange, participants commit to a clear redevelopment plan and timeline, ensuring that tax relief is directly tied to real investment and community impact.
